‘No problem with Ajith’ - Vishnuvardhan
After 'Mankatha', actor Ajith is gearing up for 'Billa 2'.
You can’t think of 'Billa 2' without associating it with director Vishnuvardhan, who was behind the mega hit 'Billa' with Ajith and was supposed to direct 'Billa 2' as well.
But despite being ready with the 'Billa 2' script, unfortunately Vishnu was dropped from the project at the last moment. The reason given was a flimsy ‘date problems’. It seems he had to work on a Tollywood project, so he was forced to give up 'Billa 2'.
But the buzz in the industry claimed the actual reason as a misunderstanding between Vishnu and the producers.
Vishnu clears the air, “I have absolutely no issues with anybody as far as 'Billa 2' is concerned. We all parted ways on a professional note.” He adds, “I have no problem with Ajith either!”

Mankatha Audio on May 1
'Mankatha' - Thala Ajith's 50th film will released on June first week and Audio launch on Ajith's Birthday May 1. Sources closest from Mankatha Unit said Andrea doing pair for Arjun and Anjali pairing with Vaibhav. and moreover film has 9 audio tracks. 3 songs already shooted and the unit now moves to Mumbai for next schedule.

Mankatha Latest Audio updates
The film has nine tracks in all. One is an introduction song of the hero in this case ‘Ajith’. One is a theme song and one is a remix. Apart from these three tracks the film has six albums that belong to various genres. One more highlight in the music track is that Yuvan has crooned a song with his legendary father music maestro Illayaraja. This is the first where the father and son have lent their voices for the same song.
The director of the film Venkat Prabhu is immensely happy with the way the songs have been composed. He feels that most of the songs will be chartbusters. Sources close to the ‘Mankatha’ team have revealed that three songs have been recorded. Sources also indicated that a music firm has offered a whooping 1 crore for the music rights of this film.
‘Mankatha’ will be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies and is expected to hit theatres on Labour’s day, May 01, 2011.

Ajith's salt and pepper look to go
Ajith is having a salt and pepper George Clooney style Ocean 11 looks in Venkat Prabhu directed Mankatha.
It is truly an international style, as lot of men who turn 40 prefer this look which makes them age gracefully.
The Mankatha Ajith look is sure going to become a rage, once the film releases.
There has been news that Ajith is playing an old man, like one of his triple roles in Varalaaru.
However, sources close to Mankatha unit said: "He is playing a guy who is in his early 40's; hence Ajith sir himself suggested this look which will click in a big way.
Only for a few songs he is wearing wigs, otherwise the character has the salt & pepper look and is slightly on the plump side."
Meanwhile Ajith is starting his Billa-2 with Chakri Toleti in the first week of May. In that film he has a totally different look as he has to look like a youngster in the age group of 20 to 25.
A source revealed: For Billa-2, Ajith sir is going on a crash diet, as he has to reduce atleast 12 kilos and look youthful as per the storyline which is about the younger of David Billa, before he became the international don."

Va da Bin Lada… - Romantic song in MANKATHA
No serious reference to the al-Qaeda leader. But a song whose starting lines have his name has been recorded recently for ‘Mankatha’, the 50th film of Ajith directed by Venkat Prabhu.
The ‘Va da…Bin Lada…’ number composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja was crooned by Krish and Suchitra and the output was excellent, a source close to the unit tells us.
“It was a romantic number to be shot on Ajith and Trisha. The song will be one of the highlights of the film, for Yuvan has come out with rocking music with the voices of Krish and Suchitra adding to it,” the sources says.
Giving more one more update on the project, the source adds: “Most part of the shoot is over and Venkat Prabhu is gearing up to release the film on May 1, the birthday of Thala.” ‘Mankatha’ is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies.

Billa Days Again
Billa days again
With Vishnu Vardhan giving way to Chakri Toleti ( Unnaipol Oruvan) the prequel Billa 2 is gathering steam, with work already starting on pre-production. Wide Angle Creations' Suresh Balaje has confirmed that Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music for the Ajith-starrer. Says Yuvan: “I'm delighted to be a part of the Billa franchise and will endeavour to present something unique, which will take the legacy of Billa (2007) further.” Adds Ajith Kumar: “The development team in Mumbai is currently working on the story and screenplay of Billa 2 with inputs from the director. I'm looking forward to working with Chakri Toleti, who, in less than a fortnight, has brought in the freshness, energy and vigour required for this project. Yuvan is an integral part of the Billa franchise and all of us are glad to have him on board.”
